Etudes d'architecture, dessin et peinture.
Après des années de peinture académique et figurative à l’huile, j’en suis venue tout naturellement à l’abstrait. L’acrylique remplace alors l’huile, car elle permet un travail rapide mais obligatoirement précis, un séchage contrôlé qui permet d’envisager une autre façon de peindre.
Vit et travaille dans le parc du Morvan en Bourgogne.
Les moteurs de son expression artistique sont des sentiments profonds, des états d’âme, des évènements…Elle travaille sur les contrastes et les couleurs, et est inspirée par des faits réels ou imaginaires. Son travail s’inscrit dans l’abstraction lyrique, avec des gestes spontanés mais contrôlés, libres de toutes contraintes.
Son matériau, la poudre de marbre, travaillée en empâtement constitue la base des trames de ses toiles avec les glacis.
