Ce travail fait partie du projet « Face à face » qui nous plonge dans le regard d'animaux choisis pour leur charge symbolique, observateurs en miroir des spectateurs que nous sommes. Ces animaux -autres vivants, autres animaux- partagent la même biosphère et nous rappellent par leur regard nos interdépendances.
Portrait d'un buffle de près.
Cet animal, réputé irascible, nous scrute de son regard sanguin. Et pourtant, une certaine douceur s'exprime aussi chez cet animal qui comme nous a plusieurs facettes et chez qui chaque individu à ses propres particularités.
La préservation des écosystèmes et la perte accélérée de biodiversité du fait des hommes peut effectivement susciter une colère juste chez ces animaux.
