The inspiration and idea of the painting came to me in a dream. This work reflects my condition during pregnancy. The nest is a symbol of the family, the egg in it is my daughter. All my thoughts are only about her, I feel like a guardian. I have built a big nest that will protect me and my daughter from the world. At that moment, it was very important. During my pregnancy, I had few jobs, but they are all very personal, imbued with love, fears, and thoughts about the future.
The art work is done in a mixed technique. I started the under-painting with acrylic paints, and the details were worked out with watercolor pencils and ink.
I love to combine different materials in my work. After all, it is not always possible to get the desired result using only one material. In my work, I often mix materials, I love such experiments. This is how interesting combinations of textures and textures are born, which can be viewed for a long time. This is a real treat for the eyes.
