Marat Zakirov was born in Glazov, which is located in the north of the Udmurt Republic in the European part of Russia. Marat is one of the young, rising, modern self-educated artist who uses plasticine instead of paint and his own hands instead of brush and pencil, as he believes that he could energize his paints through his hands and just fingers make the picture unrepeatable by using unique pattern print. It is interesting that he uses right pollex as his signature and the finishing touch on all the pictures, which he puts in the lower right corner. Another feature of most his paintings is the number of colors in the palette using by the artist. There are exactly 8: black, white, brown, purple, red, green, blue and yellow. He said that these very colors are maximum dynamic for understanding and contemplation.
Most of the paintings artist presumably refers in the direction of the art as Fauvism (in French means wild), but also he adds to this direction the word emotional, as in the process of drawing, sculpting he invests his emotions through the massive strokes which are applied to the paper quickly and boldly.
