J’ai toujours aimé dessiner et peindre. Avant l'âge de 40 ans je dessinais essentiellement. Et puis j’ai découvert la peinture et plus spécialement la technique de l'acrylique au sein d’un groupe d’artistes amateurs. Ce groupe est animé, encadré et coaché par un artiste régional nommé BOUSCA.
Complètement autodidacte, J'affectionne plus particulièrement les couleurs sombres. J’aime jouer avec les contrastes, les ombres, la lumière, que ce soit dans des portraits, des scènes de vie, des natures mortes, des paysages urbains où tout simplement des vues de la nature. Les couleurs et la texture de la matière sont également très important. Je peins, bien sûr au pinceau, mais aussi directement avec mes doigts. Ce contact direct est très important car il permet d’estomper et de «sentir» la couleur obtenue. La peinture est pour moi un refuge, un mode d’introspection mais également un formidable moyen de voyage intérieur et de rêve.
