Prince Charles and Queen Letizia visited an art exhibition in Bishop Auckland, England. They met at Auckland Castle to see Francisco de Zurbarán's new exhibition of Spanish art. Since 1756, Auckland Castle has housed twelve of the thirteen canvases from "Jacob and His Twelve Sons".

Sarah Margaret Gibson, 33, is a realistic artist who specializes in human and bird portraits. She was co-founder of the Glasgow Academy of Fine Art. Gibson will promote the charity's work at Dumfries House and has been named an ambassador by the Prince's Foundation.

'Painting transports me into another dimension,' says Prince Charles as a full exhibition of his works opens. The Garrison Chapel in Chelsea, London, has 79 of his watercolors on display.
