Magali Asselin is a French journalist who has worked as a radio host, as a communication professional and now as a photographer. Photography allows him to record fragments of reality and share them with people who weren't there at the time. We join here the journalism which attracted her, but not in its aspect of objective reality. It is a journalism controlled by a particular vision, a journalism of feelings, of sensations to be communicated. This is particularly true of his approach to nature and flowers. The rear perspective of a Japanese anemone is, above all, a personal point of view that differs from typical and perhaps clichéd images.
She frequently creates abstract works of the natural world that she loves, focusing on colors and lines rather than the scene as a whole. This is often the case with the "Inferno" series, which focuses on interesting bodies of water in Yellowstone National Park, USA. The same goes for her city photos, where she focuses more on the graphics of the city than the people who live there.
Everything is superimposed in its cosmos: the color interacts with the lines, and the words complete the subject by establishing a conversation between the images and the titles, giving them new meaning. His goal now is to capture colors, shapes and space in order to convey his originality, aesthetics and feelings without using words.
