LUCE was born in Hasselt, Belgium . She studied Graphic Arts at the St.Lucas Academy of Art in Antwerp.
In 1975 she moved to Paris, since when she has worked in several prestigious print studios among which Atelier 17 where she met Stanley William Hayter and Atelier Lacourière. Since 2006 she has lived between Paris and London .
LUCE has exhibited widely and has participated in many Print Exhibitions.
Her work is represented in many Public Collections amongst which the Tbilissi Museum ( Rep.of Georgia ), the Intern.Fine Arts Center-Seoul, Van Abbemuseum ( NL ),the Royal Museum of Fine Arts -Antwerp, the Belgian Royal Library ‘ Albert I ‘, the Frans Masereel Centre ( B ), the French National Library-Paris, the Contemporary Art Museum of Chamalières ( Fr ), the Victor and Albert Museum-London, the Iraq National Library-Baghdad, the Douro Biennial Printmaking Collection ( Portugal ), the permanent Collection of the China Printmaking Museum-Guanlan, Machida City Museum of Graphic Arts-Tokyo..
