Born in Guadalajara (Mexico) in 1970,
Elizabeth Zurita-Bono known as Liz Bono, trained in decorative arts in her hometown before moving to established in Montreal (Canada). In 2005, she moved to France and devoted herself to landscape painting. His sculptural approach to canvas offers him infinite possibilities for glazing on the surface. The texture is fine and delicate, its palette surprising. Time and space seem to stand still.
“We walk there, we rest there, in any case we escape there with delight and pleasure.
It is a painting whose presence is soothing. »
Today, his works are part of public and private collections.
The Secretary of Culture of Mexico commissioned him in 2010, a mural to commemorate the bicentenary of independence, the centenary of the Mexican Revolution and the 21st century, currently presented on the facade of the Federal Palace from Guadalajara.
