Lionel Brialt - "As the color spread, your idea change continuously."

Colorful lines and stains, movements, projections of intentions are some of the subjects Lionel Brialt's canvases are composed of, which exults the identity of the other. The Breton/Chilean artist draws from a multi-cultural imagery to create some viewpoints on where different worlds converge. Old tensions of European colonisation partly soothed by the support France had given during the dictatorship forms a background that is expressed through abstraction in a visceral way.

Lionel's main objective is to increase one's projection into abstraction. Suggesting a tridimentional space through composition, use of transparency, and color optical effects which grants to express the mental/emotional panel that is experienced in the process. The most exciting moment is the smallest moment before the first color is lain.

Lionel develops techniques by which colors interact to lay the paradox of static motion, Which exclude planification.
