Robert Lebarbier is a professional photographer, even if he hasn't made it my main job until now. But photography was already present in his work as a graphic designer, printer and designer within my communication agency in Toulouse (France).
Always photographing, he confronted all styles, portraits, snapshots, landscapes, architecture. But what best characterizes him is his attraction to composition, light and matter, whether in black and white or in color. The result is a plastic (and pictorial) photograph that seduces the visitor speaking of paintings.
Robert Lebarbier was born in 1954. He lives and works in Carentan (France). His work is present in many private collections. He has also produced a book on his work on algae.
