Dominique BERTRAND peint beaucoup au feeling. Nombre de ses oeuvres de construisent au fur et à mesure de son imagination et du mouvement de son geste. Animatrice en arts plastiques, elle a reçu un Premier prix d'art abstrait à Barcelone en 2002. Côtée chez Akoun et chez Christian Soriano.
Ex fondatrice et directrice de la galerie d'art BOITE A REVES à Perpignan qui a oeuvré pour une soixantaine d'artistes plasticiens, photographes, écrivains, et organisé de nombreuses manifestations autour de l'art in et hors galerie: conférences, concours, cours et ateliers d'arts pour enfants et adultes, démonstrations de peinture.
Tableaux de facture figurative ou abstraite. Sculptures originales, amusantes, les boîtes à rêves,(nom de son invention), avec objets de récupération disposés dans des coffrets éclairés, certains animés par un plateau tournant ou une boite à musique, sculptures sur bois flottés. Ancienne élève d'une Ecole supérieure de l'art et de la communication, Dominique est surtout une artiste autodidacte douée d'une grande imagination. Son trait est sûr, ses couleurs sont souvent à dominante vive, comme sorties du tube. Elle utilise aussi des tons plus doux pour les aquarelles et les pastels.
