Frédérique Manley is a contemporary French artist, born in Paris. In 1994, she made the decision to relocate to Normandy, seeking tranquility and proximity to nature to foster her creative process. Two years later, in 1992, she returned to Nice, drawing inspiration from the vibrant colors of the Midi and her roots in the city. Her artistic journey led her to pursue studies in drawing and sketching at the Ecole Nationale d'Art Décoratif De Nice.
In 2022, Manley embarked on a new chapter in her artistic career with a move to her new studio in OCCITANIE. The Garonne River plays a pivotal role in her creative process, influencing a new series of paintings that mark a significant turning point and renewal in her artistic approach. Through abstraction, Manley seeks to infuse the gaps and darkness of human existence with life and light, offering viewers a glimpse into the transformative power of art.
