LODYA painted for more than ten years and takes part in regional, international exposures and participates at art and poem contests. Her watercolours were already published in well-known artistic (HACHETTE magazines, DESSINS ET PEINTURES reviews or newspapers. She reproduces her watercolours starting from photographs taken at the occasion of travels or from postcards of more or less remote regions which were often her source of inspiration as well as the animals, the flowers and the portraits. Her subjects of predilection are the scenes of the daily life and over all, the landscapes of the edge of water. She translates in watercolour with clear and limpid colors changing reflections of atmosphere and of light of the Charente-native coasts.
Lodya has followed silk painting courses during 4 years then watercolour courses while one year at ATELIER DE L'ORME, then acrylique courses at Atelier ArtBraye.

Lodya peint depuis plus de 20 ans et participe à des expositions régionales, nationales et même internationales aux PAYS-BAS…BELGIQUE , ITALIE, ROYAUME UNI, ALLEMAGNE (Berlin), NEW YORK..MIAMI Beach (12/2022)... BARCELONE (06/23) ...et aussi à des concours. Ses aquarelles ont déjà été publiées dans des revues artistiques bien connues (HACHETTE, DESSINS ET PEINTURE….) ou journaux.
Lodya reproduit ses aquarelles à partir de photos prises à l’occasion de voyages qui ont souvent été sa source d’inspiration ainsi que les animaux, les fleurs et les portraits.
Ses sujets de prédilection sont les scènes de la vie quotidienne et par dessus tout, les paysages du bord de l'eau. Lodya essaie de traduire à l’aquarelle avec des couleurs claires et limpides les reflets changeants de l’atmosphère et de la lumière des côtes charentaises.
Lodya pratique le dessin depuis son enfance. Pendant 4 ans, elle a suivi des cours de peinture sur soie. Par la suite, afin d'améliorer sa pratique de l'aquarelle elle a suivi des cours à l'Atelier de l'Orme (Loiret) pendant 1 an. Puis viennent s'ajouter des cours de peinture acrylique et pastel à l'Atelier Abraysien.
Sa démarche artistique consiste à faire partager aux visiteurs des univers divers et variés. Elle propose un monde plein de couleurs vives et d’émotions qu'elle glane au fil des voyages et rencontres.
