About the author
Born in 1968, professional photographer since 1992, Stefano Ceretti discovered his passion for photography in middle school when Don Piero, a Salesian priest who was his literature teacher, showed him the process of developing and printing black and white photos. At the end of the school year his parents gave him a Minox 35GL; a few months after the first reflex. The following years are the classic ones of the "gavetta", up to the Military Service (1991) spent, as a clarinettist in the fifth year of the Conservatory, in the brass band of the Taurinense Alpine Brigade.
In 1992 he opened "his" photography studio.
Despite the many satisfactions, only after having fought and defeated non-Hodgkin's lymphoma which in 2001 forced him to undergo 12 sessions of chemotherapy and 20 of radiotherapy, Stefano managed to put his life's priorities back in order and found the right direction. of his artistic research, achieving the best "freedom" in the creation of his shots.
From that moment we can appreciate a continuous rise in his professional path which has allowed him to be known and appreciated today in Italy and abroad. Among his most recent assignments: photographic services
in Barcelona and Berlin for the NBA (the American Professional Basketball League), the ten-year collaboration with Pallacanestro Biella as Official Photographer, numerous images for advertising Modesto Bertotto, Angelico, Zignone, Agorà Palace Hotel, IDD Italia, Lauretana, Adidas , Baroli, Luca Lovero, Hotel Sirio, Cittadellarte, Glocal Design, Botalla Formaggi, Ferribiella... without forgetting the publication of the photographic book "VOLI", distributed in Japan (March 2010) and the images created exclusively for the National Press Campaign of the new LSS La Stampa Style fashion line (visible in the pages of “La Stampa” from August 2010).
