Après des études aux Beaux-arts de Paris et à l’Akademie der Künste à Berlin, Jean-Luc TURLURE expose sur tous les continents et représente la France à de grandes expositions. Ses œuvres figurent dans les Musées. Il séjourne plusieurs années en Allemagne, au Danemark et aux USA (Houston, Miami). Il s’installe à Montpellier et ouvre son atelier dans le Gard en 2012.
Artiste plasticien, il utilise toutes les techniques et tous les supports.
Sculpteur, citons parmi ses nombreuses réalisations : le Trophée Miss France 1991.
Il est aussi connu aussi pour ses films (dont New-York, Matisse…), ses vidéos, ses décors de théâtre, ses installations, ses performances… Citons également ses Editions et parutions dont « Mes rencontres avec Picasso ».
Ses expositions personnelles et Résidences sont principalement en Europe : Allemagne, Belgique, Hongrie, Russie. Collectivement, il est bien présent en Europe.
Il représente la France dans différentes biennales : Madrid, Barcelone et à Mettman pour la première rencontre franco-allemande.
