Christian Geai est né à Cholet (49) le 27/10/49.
Il a commencé à dessiner et à peindre dés l'age de 6 ans.
Aprés des études classiques, il part en Allemagne, à Hambourg et s'inscrit à l'Ecole Supérieure des beaux Arts à Lerchenfeld.
Il participe à différentes expositions de groupes à partir de 1974 et ouvre le cycle de ses expositions personnelles dans les galeries de Hambourg, altona, cologne etc...
Il revient en france en 1980 pour s'installer au Mesnil-en -Vallée, près d'angers où il fonde un atelier de faïence. Grand prix de région Pays de Loire et Segond Meilleur artisan de France en 1983, il crée nombre de pièces appréciées et recherchées en europe, au Japon et aux Etats Unis.
C'est en 1988 qu'il décide de s'installer à Nice pour y ouvrir une école d'art.En septembre 2005 Il ouvre une galerie atelier dans la rue droite du Vieux Nice, face au Palais Lascari.
Christian geai est membre des Artistes Français et médaillé en 1988.
