Son premier appareil photo (Foca sport II) lui est offert par ses parents pour son bac … Essentiellement diapos de famille, puis paysages. Progressivement, à l’occasion de voyages lointains et nombreux en Amérique du Nord, au Japon, en Patagonie, mais aussi en Europe…
Admirateur de Cartier-Bresson, de Doisneau, d’Izis, il a mis l’accent il y a quelque années sur le noir et blanc et les scènes de rue prises sur le vif. Actuellement, il alterne noir et blanc et couleur, et s’oriente vers plus de dépouillement, d’esthétisme, de graphisme, d’abstraction, comme en temoigne sa recente exposition "Quintessences" a la librairie Arthaud-Chapitre de Grenoble (octobre 2011).
