Rinat Animaev was born in 1955 in Dushanbe, capital of Tajikistan. He is the sixth child in a family whose father is a painter. He was interested in art and began drawing at a young age. His father died too early in Rinat's life for him to benefit from his artistic knowledge.
His mother, attentive to her son's artistic faculties, enrolled him at the École Centrale des Arts at the age of ten. In 1970, Rinat followed for five years the teaching of professors Kurbanov S., Besperstov A. T., Beknazarov M. at the School for Artistic Professions.
After his years of study, Rinat Animaev successfully took the entrance exam for the Surikov Institute in Moscow. This institute brings together the most promising hopes from all the countries of the former Soviet Union. It is a true traditional school for the art of Russian painting, Rinat Animaev will benefit from a very complete artistic education (painting, sculpture, drawing, etc.) He will be a student of the greatest masters: Matchalski D.K., Artamonov V.E. , Korolov G.G.
These years of study will be a real happiness, Rinat Animaev can satisfy his curiosity and his thirst for knowledge in the history of the arts and artistic practice. His learning also involves visiting museums, reading in libraries and going to dramatic theaters. All these places are culturally very interesting at that time for our young artist who is curious about everything. Far from his native region, Moscow lacks light and warmth, the young painter works a lot and exhibits more and more frequently.
1989, arrival of Rinat Animaev in France. He painted in Paris to exhibit in Russia. He will be the first Russian painter who obtained authorization from the Louvre to copy the paintings of the painter Daubigny.
