Adele steinberg has been painting for 18 years. She has had three solo shows in Toronto and many group exhibition. She began her career in 1998 when she took a sabatical from teaching.
Her art is vibrant and colourful showing her enthusiasm for life. She loves to paint trees and nature. Some people remark that the tress are dancing and have come to life!
When Adele first started painting, she was motivated to paint flowers fascinated by their myriad shapes and hues.
She loved the work of Georgia O'Keefe and was influenced by her as well as other artists.
Adele has since branched out into painting landscape,animals, portraits, women and children.
The birth of her 4 grandchildren has motivated her into this latter area.
Painting for Adele is a creative outlet that has brought her closer to nature. She has learned to observe the world in a different way.
Adele creates art cards from most of her work. People have loved the cards and often feel they are too beautiful to send and frame them instead .
Adele always reminds them that there is more where they came from.
