Frequently Asked Questions

What are the advantages of leasing works of art?

  • Financial Flexibility: You can enjoy exceptional, high-value works of art without a large initial investment.
  • Tax Benefits: Receive potential tax benefits as rents can be deducted as a business expense.

How are the prices of monthly payments for leasing works of art set?

  • The costs depend on the value of the work, the duration of the leasing contract, and any services included such as installation.

Can we buy the work after the leasing period?

  • Yes, on Artmajeur leasing contracts offer a purchase option at the end of the contract, allowing customers to acquire the work at a determined price (residual value).

How are the safety and insurance of works managed?

  • Insurance during the duration of the rental contract is the responsibility of the customer. It is therefore important to check the details of your insurance contract to be sure that your leased works are covered in the event of damage.

"True life, life finally discovered and clarified, the only life therefore fully lived, is ...." MP

All about my approach?

A painter presents his work. He must also give dates, explanations or worse, concepts.
Where we can use the word installation as the medical profession uses the term coitus. We don't exclude love, we just don't talk about it.
Where we can imagine that the work is not enough on its own or that the eye of the viewer is not autonomous.
The enterprise is risky, dangerous. Yesterday under the watchful eye of the curator, the artist is now under medical assistance "thanks" to the curator...

Since when…

I could admit to painting for more than half a century, followed by a second confession in the face of the perplexity of accountants: that of leaving lasting traces for less time.
Here are the dates.

Training …

heterodidact.

Does it mean something...

A blind question for a blind job!

Let's clarify one thing. I don't paint from a model. This one comes later. Everyone knows that the painting, the drawing already exists, the painter, the draftsman only finds it, reveals it, captures it. As proof, just look at the painters on the lookout in their armchairs... and see them so proud to be photographed in front of their paintings... hunting.
And when, by the greatest chance, the meeting with the model takes place, the emotion will be there, shared.
In this sense, to say that painters are at the service of painting is not only a cliché but a commonplace, cruel for those who claim an alleged paternity. Have we ever seen a hunter claim his offspring in the prey he has just murdered, I mean finished? Lucid, it would have been preferable not to sign. Anonymity is not recognized by the market.
There remains the fleeting and shameful impression of being a straw man, a nominee. This allows me, with the greatest bad faith, to decline all responsibility concerning the content of my paintings. They are responsible for themselves and them alone. This is facilitated by the fact that a painter rarely looks at his paintings. How often do you see an architect inhabiting one of his creations?
And the style would then be, when it is not "an imposture", a way for the painter to do his service, as one does a table service.

My evolution…
Fools think there is an evolution in Art. Let them clean their eyes off the cave paintings. No evolution either in an artist but rather a helical movement which brings him indefinitely closer to the center of his work.

When is a painting finished...

The painting is finished when the painter is dead... of fear.
The fear of adding something that would destroy...
More prosaically, the painting ends on its own, without the knowledge of the painter who is then, manu militari,...
