About the author
Alexander Panayotov is a sympathetic young artist from Eastern Europe. He lives in Sofia, Bulgaria, where he started studying art from his early childhood. He was only 13 years old when he won an award from the prestigious national art competition. Alexander studied with some of the best Bulgarian artists and, captivated by their love for art, he followed in their footsteps. Influenced by impressionism and Van Gogh's creativity, he built his own style. In his paintings you can notice skilful handling of colours, nuances, tints and shapes. He uses a mixed technique of drawing and mostly oil paints.
Alexander is excited about the questions of his time – the transition from totalitarianism to democracy leaves a deep trace in bulgarian society and brings about fundamental changes in its contemporaries. As a keen-minded person, who is also a graduate in psychology, he aspires to participate in these processes through his creativity by instilling more optimism, joy, harmony and kindness. Following his authenticity as an author, he is happy when those people who appreciate his works retell in their own way and further develop the stories and messages conveyed therein. That's how the road goes on.
