Je dessine et peins plutôt sporadiquement depuis ma plus tendre enfance mais je peins, disons plus sérieusement, depuis l'âge de la retraite et surtout depuis que je dispose d'un espace dédié.
Autodidacte, bien qu'habitant en Dordogne, je suis né à Biarritz et si je n'ai jamais été très porté sur le fait de m'étendre à même le sable de la Grande Plage. Il n'en demeure pas moins que j'ai toujours adoré et admiré les bords de mer et les vagues qui viennent mourir à nos pieds ou qui déferlent sur les rochers. J'aime saisir leurs mouvements sur mes toiles et souvent rajouter à la scène une touche d'insolite.
J'aime également peindre le temps qui passe et qui emporte avec lui la beauté originelle des choses. En d'autres termes, j'aime représenter les choses qui ont vécues, qui sont délabrées, rouillées, bref, qui sont à la retraite comme moi.
Et si je marie ces dernières avec un milieu maritime, c'est que j'arrive à jouer avec mon imaginaire et c'est cette façon de m'exprimer que j'adore.
