Born in 1970, Constant Fenec lives and works in France, where he devotes himself to figurative art, particularly exploring the female body through pastel, oil and ink drawings on paper. A graduate of Rouen Fine Arts in 1997, Constant Fenec is a professional artist who, in addition to his artistic work, has never stopped practicing nude drawing from live models.
His works are deeply influenced by masters such as Picasso, Egon Schiele and David Hockney. This influence manifests itself in her distinctive style which combines a bold exploration of the feminine form with a refined sensitivity to detail and nuance.
For 25 years, Constant Fenec perfected his art, drawing nudes in poses lasting 15 to 20 minutes, before retouching the backgrounds of his sketches at home to give them more relief and color. It is only now, after years of diligent practice, that he has decided to show and sell his nude sketches, which he finally considers to live up to his artistic expectations.
His work reflects a deep understanding of the human form and a remarkable ability to capture the essence of the subject with an economy of means. Constant Fenec's works are a celebration of the female body, paying homage to the beauty and complexity of his subjects through a sensitive and respectful gaze.
