Einen Schwerpunkt der Malerei von Angelika Scheibler bildet die Darstellung der Natur, mit der sie sich sehr verbunden fühlt. Ihre Motive findet sie im Freien, fertigt Skizzen und Fotos und malt anschließend im Atelier. Dabei fließen immer ihre persönlichen Eindrücke und Interpretationen mit ein. Sie malt gerne Landschaften und Stimmungen fernab vom Trubel.
Angelika Scheibler malt mit Acryl, Aquarell, Pastell, Öl und gerne mit Eitempera, einer altmeisterlichen Technik, bei der eine Emulsion aus Ei, Leinöl und Wasser hergestellt und anschließend mit den Farbpigmenten vermischt wird. Durch dieses Malmittel kommt die Farbe besonders gut zur Geltung, trocknet schnell und ist sehr haltbar.
In den vergangenen Jahren hat sie sich mit unterschiedlichen Techniken und Materialien beschäftigt und ein berufsbegleitendes Studium Bildende Kunst absolviert. Gerne besucht sie Workshops und liebt den Austausch mit anderen Künstlern.
Ihre Bilder werden regelmäßig in Galerien sowie öffentlichen Einrichtungen in Deutschland ausgestellt. Sie ist Mitglied im Bund Fränkischer Künstler und in der GEDOK Franken. Einige ihrer Werke befinden sich in privaten Sammlungen.
