Hello, my name is Artemio Alvarez Ramirez, I am a Cuban artist that has been creating paintings and sculptures in wood since 1995. I am graduated in Elementary School of Plastic Arts Jose Joaquin Tejada in Santiago de Cuba. I have also an Associate Degree as Instructor in the improvement center for Art and Culture of Santiago de Cuba, I am always trying to recreate images of our world with my own touch if imagination, that’s why most of my art is based in landscapes, cityscapes and portraits. I also have made some exclusive request for recurrent client’s realistic portraits and abstracts. I have been part of more than twenty personal and collective expositions, and I have been created more than 200 pieces of art in my whole life.
