Valerie Barrault, a contemporary French sculptor, embarked on her sculpting journey in 2008, and swiftly, the decision to create expressive faces became a natural inclination for her.
Having initially explored drawing and clay modeling, Valerie delved into the realm of sculpture, gradually unlocking the secrets of patina techniques. The allure of creating expressive faces and the transformative power of patinas have since become integral elements of her artistic expression.
Valerie's artistic vision leads her to address significant themes poetically, aiming to alter perspectives on the world that surrounds us.
