Valérie Fistarol, born in 1977, is a French artist based near Bayonne in France. Since her childhood, drawing has been her refuge, a space where she expresses her emotions with meticulous precision. With her pencils, she brings out light when the shadows become threatening.

Her artistic work focuses on the question of the feminine. Between aesthetic quest and exploration of truths, she examines the various facets of femininity, going beyond appearances to reveal a more complex essence. His marker drawings on paper or cardboard capture these nuances, oscillating between strength and fragility, light and shadow.

Over time, color became essential to his artistic expression. Through mixed techniques including drawing, collage and gilding, Valérie brings to life a vibrant and living feminine. His influences, from Odilon Redon to Georgia O'Keeffe, including Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt, are reflected in his work.

In addition to her drawings, Valérie explores other artistic forms such as collage and sculpture, highlighting the female figure from various angles. Her work is a tribute to the complexity and beauty of the feminine, providing the viewer with a rich visual and emotional experience.
