Since the dawn of time, people have always admired nature. They expressed their love by depicting the world around them in all kinds of mosaics, bas-reliefs and paintings. Many great artists have devoted their creativity to painting landscapes. The pictures in which we see forests, rivers, fields, ferns, flowers are truly mesmerizing. The work in which the beauty and power of the world around us is conveyed in such detail, colorfully and emotionally is inspiring respect. All my work is permeated with love for my native nature.

I received my first painting lessons at a local art school. In 1987 he graduated from the Suzdal Art and Restoration School. Interest in the Russian landscape turned out to be predominant. The impressions of my childhood spent in the countryside determined the nature of future work and engendered in me an inescapable love for the Russian forest. The beauty of the pine forest near Alyoshino (native village) and the twilight of the forest thicket were deeply imprinted in the mind. Reality is the source of my creative impulse. More I.I. Shishkin said that "nature should be sought in all its simplicity - the drawing should follow it in all the whims of form." Therefore, I carefully observe the shape of intricately intertwined tree branches, stumps overgrown with moss, velvety and prickly needles, noisy green foliage. However, at the same time, I do not just copy, “photograph” ... in the image of nature I am more of a poet - calm, observant, searching. After all, the poetry of landscapes is the poetry of nature itself, which opens when a person comes into contact with it.

Most of the works were written within walking distance; it is a forest that spreads around my native city, groves and swamps near the village, where my childhood passed and where I like to return again and again, drawing inspiration from new details of long-familiar reserved places that constantly open up to the eye.

Very rare in my paintings are depictions of people. In my works, I communicate with nature, and if you sometimes meet a lonely figure, then it gives the picture intimacy, intimacy.

cradle of Rus'. Old cozy houses, churches, wildly overgrown with nettle wattle. I believe that all this is an integral part of us, it is part of our nature, a part of great Rus', giving us peace and tranquility.

With all your creative searches I try to convey the "great in the small" - the unique beauty of nature in the middle Russian strip. Something that everyone can easily see for themselves, but do not notice in the bustle of running days. I am happy when the viewer stops in front of the picture, feeling the desire to freeze and plunge into a state that cannot be expressed in words, into the charm of Russian nature.

Since 1991, I have been participating in exhibitions in Europe, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Dzerzhinsk. My works are in private collections, offices, banks in Russia, America, England, China, Israel, Canada, Italy, Germany. I create my canvases in the best traditions of Russian landscape painting, drawing inspiration from the familiar landscapes of central Russia.
