Daniel Sohier was born in the Champagne region (France) in 1954. A graduate in photography (CAP), he began his professional career in 1975. He received the 1st prize for architectural photography in Chôlet in 1981 and was selected for the prestigious Ilford prize in 1986. His work has been shown in numerous exhibitions.
