About the author
Audrey Rouvin est une artiste peintre et illustratrice qui vit et travaille en Bretagne. Après quatre années d'études à l'école d'arts appliqués Pivaut à Nantes, elle obtient un diplôme en peinture décorative, spécialité trompe-l'oeil, ornementation et peinture à l'huile. Elle élargit son savoir-faire et ses techniques lors de nombreux stages et expériences artistiques mais aussi elle satisfait sa curiosité au contact d'artistes et d'artisans, notamment lors d'un stage en atelier de vitrail à Chartres et un autre en atelier de bijouterie à Nantes. En 2014 et 2015, elle réalise les décors et les peintures pour la guinguette de Tours dans le cadre du festival "Tours sur Loire". Cette collaboration avec l'association "Le petit monde" l'emmène travailler en Thaïlande sur la décoration d'un bungalow de l'hôtel Blue Lagoon sur l'île de Koh Chang puis sur le chantier de l'ouverture de la guinguette "La Javelle" (Paris XVIe).
En 2016, elle participe à la résidence artistique avec le collectif de L'armacca artillerie à l'hôtel Pasteur de Rennes. En parallèle, elle pratique l'aquarelle et les encres en autodidacte et expose régulièrement ses oeuvres personnelles dans sa région.
Passionnée d'arts décoratifs, de bande dessinée et d'architecture, ses illustrations aux encres ouvrent la porte sur des royaumes oniriques et nostalgiques où la nature occupe toujours le premier rôle. Elle participe actuellement à un projet de bande dessinée avec le scénariste Tarek et une exposition avec Vincent Pompetti est prévue pour cette année 2021 dans une galerie d'art contemporain à Bourges et à Rennes à L'atelier Noir Noir. Elle vient également d'intégrer la galerie JPHT à Paris et participera à une exposition collective au Marché Dauphine (Saint-Ouen) à l'occasion du trentenaire de la mort de Gainsbourg.
