Un grave accident à la main à 17 ans m’a contraint d’abandonner le projet de faire
les beaux-arts. Depuis l’enfance J’ai toujours eu le désir de faire de la sculpture, fascinée par celles que j’avais admiré au Louvre pendant les visites scolaires.
Autodidacte, j’ai appris les rudiments du travail de la terre par des stages loisirs. Le travail de l’argile est une évidence pour moi, capter les expressions et les Émotions humaines et donner vie à la matière inerte, sensuelle et chaleureuse.
J’en ai fait mon principale mode d’expression aujourd’hui. Réaliser des portraits, renouvelez ce geste vieux comme l’humanité...avoir l’instinct du sculpteur.
