About the author
My paintings reflect my taste for eclecticism: abstract art, street art, calligraphy, photography, writing. My curiosity is not limited to the visual arts. Music and travel are also essential sources of inspiration.
The creation of a canvas is, for me, synonymous with a leap into the unknown ... I often start my paintings with a moment of total letting go. I let my emotions, images, colors and music guide me. Painting has become an instinctive, spontaneous act inspired by the music of the moment. Then comes the time for reflection ... I like to bring out more figurative details in small touches, I add collages, I work on the material. The canvas is gradually structured. This journey can be more or less long. I need time between these different work phases to finalize my works.
I am not trying to portray reality. My wish: to allow you to travel in my imagination, tell a story, instill an emotion or a message. Thus, more and more, my paintings oscillate between abstraction and reality.
