Sandrine Gergaud is a contemporary French artist. Her approach consists in waking up common points between the one who paints and those who watch. It is about telling stories left in suspense, where the collective and the individual mingle so that the spectator, with his share of interpretation, personality and projection, completes the story of the canvas. Indeed, the dialogue game between the evocative background and the accuracy of the posture of the characters as well as the deliberately very off-center framing create a back and forth movement between the abstract and the figurative, the void and the action, the controlled and the 'random.
