About the author
Born to Ukranian father and russian mother in a family with artistic background. My home in Sankt Petersburg was filled with paintings, reproductions of old masters and books. As a little girl, I was in love with Rafael, later i discovered Impressionists, Modigliani and Matisse. Art, dance and books are my biggest passions since.
Early drawings and sketches are mostly lost or given away during my journey through Russia, USA and studying in South Korea. Started to paint seriously after moving to Austria in 2003.
TECHNIC
I usually use a lot of layers in oil paintings. Suffer from perfectionism mania, therefore need three to ten weeks to finish an artwork in oil. Some oils took me years to complete TT. Very fast when working with pencil or Ink.
Enjoy exploring technics in watercolor, Ink, coffee, pastel and Gouache.
A lot of my work is commissioned. Have regular exhibitions in Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
Have my collectors and customers in Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Russia, USA, England, South Korea, Ukraine and Germany.
All of my artworks are signed and have Certificate of Authenticity.
I see ART as a source of Inspiration and Energy in everyday life. It can touch hearts, heal souls, distract from everyday, bring positive energy or warm memories to life and motivate. I hope that my artworks will serve this purpose.
