About the author
URB, urbis 15/08/2007 -12/09/2007 group show as part of the red party in Verona
His works are characterized by colors in motion, capable of crossing forms, disguising metaphors and outlining their contours, and colors with an emotional impact, capable of retaining urban stimuli and defining their imperceptible forms, occupying spaces and exceeding limits. “Colour transforms sensations, blurs perception and forces the thrill of the imagination to be exposed”. The chromatic language is anchored to existential stimuli: joys, fears, daily disturbances. Roberto Aere uses a pictorial technique that takes time, but is born instinctive, fast, moody. The picture comes from a continuous gesture, "everything must happen with a single and definitive sign that furrows whitewashed wooden tables, fixing transparent and overlapping shapes, made up of many random and different spaces to fill". On display is a personal vision of Procida between sea and sky, one of his paintings that stops the memory of particular landscapes.
