About the author
Born in Plunge, Lithuania in 1954. In childhood was fond of carving. In 2007 was granted a status of Art creator of Lithuania. 2017 Art and culture bonus from Kretinga municipality. Created artworks for churches, by public buildings; gravestone monuments, furniture that looks like sculpture, original wooden dishes etc.
Studied architecture 1974-1980 Gediminas technical University Faculty of architecture.
Since 1990 has been creating wooden sculptures.
In 2017 publishing house Charibde published album with 120 photos of his artworks and texts " Miracles hewn out of the wood".
