Eleonora Gushchina pittrice autodidatta nasce in Russia sul lago “Baykal” 18 aprile 1979, vive in Italia da quindici anni in Toscana nella città di Montecatini Terme.
Pur non frequentando scuole e ambienti legati all’arte, ha sempre espresso un innato desiderio nel disegno, nella fotografia e nella pittura.
Nel 2010 conosce il pittore Rocco Normanno diventando la sua allieva. Normanno è un pittore virtuoso dotato di elevata tecnica e di grande genialità, tanto che viene definito da Vittorio Sgarbi come “Il Caravaggio Vivente”.
Gushchina dipinge con lo stile del Realismo ispirandosi alla tecnica pittorica degli antichi maestri. Il taglio pittorico è quello di cogliere e riproporre la realtà così come viene avvertita senza mediazione di alcun filtro interpretativo, dando vita ad opere figurative di forte impatto visivo ed emotivo giocando con i contrasti di luci e di ombre..
