Mon travail est orienté vers la couleur et le mouvement. Les sentiments que j’essaie de transposer sur mes clichés sont la solitude, le vide, l’ennuie. Lorsque je travaille sur une cession photo, je m’applique surtout à m’imprégner de l’endroit dans lequel je me trouve pour imaginer un probable résultat. Rien n’est jamais sûr dans mon approche, j’aime que la vision que je peux me faire d’une situation soit en réalité profondément biaisée et floue. C’est aussi cela que je travaille sur mes photos, la sensation que rien n’est vraiment jamais comme on le croit ou comme on aimerait nous le faire croire, il y a toujours une part d’inconnue et de vérité caché.
Je travaille sur les « défauts » de mes photos dès la prise de vue en jouant avec les temps de pause plus ou moins longs et en ajoutant des filtres à mes objectifs, pour ensuite continuer la « déconstruction » des clichés en post-production. L’imperfection est mon crédo et je mets tout en œuvre pour parvenir à l’image que j’ai en tête.
