About the author
Ans is an accomplished contemporary Dutch artist based in Spain. Her work is quite imposed and it becomes apparent how well she uses shade and light to give a very real quality of what she does. Her street scenes are spectacular. She draws inspiration from her travels in Europe.
Ans is also inpired by the thriving Spanish artist community around where she lives and enjoys experimenting with the various contemporary techniques. She paints in oils, watercolour but mainly in acrylics; on canvases or on wood, with brushes and spatulas. She enjoys to discover new styles and materials and she hopes to create interest in her honest and diverse work.
Her works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally.
