I was born on December 11th, 1980 in Surabaya-Jawa Timur, Indonesia. I belong to an artistic family. My mother is a painter. She is the one who I first I learned to draw with. My grandfather was a well-known artist. I used to draw decorative with pastels and to draw Japanese animation (manga/anime) with pencils and watercolor pencils. I used to be an illustrator for a senior high school magazine at my school. When I was 16, my mother taught me to paint with other mediums I never used before, like, watercolor and oil paintings. Painting was just one of my hobbies. But, in the early of my 20's it became a major thing and full-time activity in my life. I want to follow my grandfather's and mother's footprint.
