Frequently Asked Questions
What are the advantages of leasing works of art?
- Financial Flexibility: You can enjoy exceptional, high-value works of art without a large initial investment.
- Tax Benefits: Receive potential tax benefits as rents can be deducted as a business expense.
How are the prices of monthly payments for leasing works of art set?
- The costs depend on the value of the work, the duration of the leasing contract, and any services included such as installation.
Can we buy the work after the leasing period?
- Yes, on ArtMajeur leasing contracts offer a purchase option at the end of the contract, allowing customers to acquire the work at a determined price (residual value).
How are the safety and insurance of works managed?
- Insurance during the duration of the rental contract is the responsibility of the customer. It is therefore important to check the details of your insurance contract to be sure that your leased works are covered in the event of damage.
What are the conditions for terminating the leasing contract before its end?
- Unless there are specific conditions, leasing contracts for works of art commit the client to payment of the entire price of the work; payments are therefore due until the end of the lease.

About the author
My interest in painting began in the 60s in León, with a restoration of a Pieta that the religious of San Marcos asked of me. During those years, he emigrated to Paris with the illusion of art. I lived there for two years alternating between art and some work to survive.
Between Montmartre, Els Pons de las Artes, museums and exhibitions, I managed to gather around thirty paintings that, when I returned to Spain for military service, I exhibited in León at the R.S.E. Friends of the Country.
When I joined the ranks in Astorga, the head of the rocket launcher regiment suggested that I exhibit at the City Hall during the holidays. And so it was, during the time of S.M. I was working a lot in those places and I left a lot of work in the barracks and for the military.
When I graduated in 1965 I moved to Catalonia, specifically to Sant Boi de Llobregat (Barcelona) where I exhibited at the City Hall.
In 1966 I married Genoveva and continued with the paintings above and below. I started participating in speed painting contests. In Tossa de Mar I always sold paintings. During these years, I painted a lot of commercial paint that I sold to department stores and furniture and decoration houses. This helped me a lot when working with the spatula.
Due to the circumstances of life, family and work, I was never able to study fine arts, so I am self-taught and often necessity forces you to make an effort and achieve what you would never have thought of.
In 1968, with the help of Genoveva, my wife, we opened a small shop outside the Mercado Centro of Cornellà de Llobregat where, thanks to God and many efforts, I exhibit and sell all my work. I have a good portfolio of clients who pass their orders from generation to generation.
Currently I am a retired pensioner and I move with the Group of Plastic Artists of Castelldefels and the associations of the Baix Llobregat region of Barcelona, exhibiting in various locations, as well as in the Plaza de las Palmeras on the Paseo Marítimo of Castelldefels, all the first and third Sundays of each month by concession from the City Council of this town.
