Cette illustration représente une abeille, dont les rayures ont été remplacé par des fleurs (oeillets, coquelicots, symphorine, etc.).
Elle a été réalisée avec un feutre à pigment de qualité archive, dont l'encre fourni un noir très profond qui résiste très bien aux affres du temps, et ne s'abîme pas avec la lumière.
L'abeille est un insecte essentielle à l'écosystème. Bien que nous le connaissions surtout dans nos ruches, il ne faut pas oublier que les abeilles sauvages vivaient parfois en forêt, aux milieux de plantes variées.
