"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.
Art Print "Fine Art" - Glossy finish on a fiber base paper 325 g.

I decided to paint a series of Portuguese coffee cups decorated with patterns of Portuguese sidewalks made by Vista Alegre.
I used Daniel Smith PrimaTek pigment. These pigments are made from minerals and granulate beautifully and some leave a sparkly shine on the surface of the paper. I'm not sure if I will be able to show this on the photos.
I'm very proud to say that I got the second place prize at the exhibition!
This is what the jury had to say about them (in French):
En travaillant la nature morte - ou sa métaphore? - dans un registre très contemporain, voire pop, l'effet de série respire. Original. En suspens entre les temporalités, il en dit un peu, mais pas trop. A la fois redondant et pluriel.

I have always had a fascination for watercolours. With the idea that with water, pigments and paper one can replicate reality. I love the effects of granulation that watercolour pigments offer and the fact that the artist has a limited control over the flow and results obtained and has to learn to anticipate results and to be able to work with the "happy accidents" that always occur when painting with watercolour.
I'm a figurative painter attracted by a variety of subject matters. Every day there seems to be something in my surroundings that captures my imagination and makes me want to translate that feeling/sensation onto paper.
When working with still lives I try to find the beauty in ordinary objects. I enjoy isolating them from their usual settings and giving them the attention they do not usually receive.
Live models I paint in a looser, free style, swiftly capturing the essential elements to produce dramatic figures.
A couple of years ago I joined the local Urban Sketchers group and we try to meet, once a week, weather permitting, to sketch on location. This has been very beneficial to me, I see the progress not only in my work but also in the way I look and perceive the world around me.
I have the honour of being the Swiss country leader for FabrianoinAcquarello since 2020. This is a watercolour festival that happens every year in the town of Fabriano, Italy, famous for its paper manufacture since the middle ages.
