I am Evgeniy Anatolyevich Kovalchuk was born on March 26, 1969 in the city of Torez, Donetsk region in Ukraine, during the time of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
My artistic inclinations began to manifest themselves in early childhood. Already in kindergarten they called me an artist.
From 1976 to 1986 I received secondary education at secondary school No. 1. He took an active part in the cultural and artistic life of his class and school.
In 1980 he began studying at the art studio of the Palace of Culture. Mayakovsky under the direction of the artist Pereshivailov Nikolai Ilyich.
From 1983 to 1986 I studied by correspondence at the People's University of Arts - Moscow.
In 1986, I made my first attempt to enter the Donetsk Art and Design School, but thank God I didn’t get in.
In order not to waste time, I entered vocational technical school No. 6 in the city of Donetsk to major in tiling and mosaic work, and in 1987 I successfully completed it, receiving the 3rd category in my specialty.
Before the army, I managed to work in my specialty in Donetsk on a Soviet construction site.
In December 1987, I joined the Soviet Army. I had to serve in the emergency brigade near Kiev in the city of Brovary in unit No. 68881 - field water supply battalion under the command of Colonel Dergunov - as it later turned out - my fellow countryman from the city of Snezhnoye.
In the army, he was actively involved in wall newspapers, posters, leaflets, maps.
Was a member of the Vocal - Instrumental - Orchestra.
A 3 by 5 meter painting was painted in the relaxation corner.
In December 1998, he was demobilized and returned home to the city of Torez.
To restore my artistic form, I again start going to the art studio with my favorite teacher.
1989-1990 I work and study at the Electro-Technical Plant as a toolmaker.
1990 On the advice of my teacher, I am entering the art and graphic department of the KSPI in the city of Kursk.
1992 Personal exhibition. Hoodgraf. G. Kursk.
1992 I work in the shopping complex "GREEN" as a graphic designer.
1993 Personal exhibition dedicated to March 8. Shopping complex "GREEN"
Kursk.
1993-1995. Active participant in exhibitions of the creative association "KURAZH"
Kursk.
In 1993, the first attempt to enter the Surikov Institute failed and I
I’m taking exams at the Glazunov Academy - I didn’t get in again, thank God!
In 1993-1995, participation in collective exhibitions held by the gallery “From A to Z”
In 1994. The second attempt to enter the Surikov Institute at the Faculty of Painting - I was admitted - I passed the exams, but did not get the required number of points.
!995 I graduated from the Kursk State Pedagogical University with a degree in teaching art and drawing.
Summer 1995 - the third attempt to enter the institute. Surikov ends with admission to the Faculty of Graphics.
