Diana Koreneva is an artist born in Russia, in the Voronezh region. She graduated from the Kramskoy art school in 2015.

Her artistic path began with light watercolor portraits, smoothly transitioning to in-depth works with mixed materials, emphasizing the extraordinary character of bright personalities.

She is fascinated by doors that open the way to unknown universes, twisted bars on windows and fences, behind which life is seething. You never know what you will find when you look inside. This feeling of impatient delight and surprise attracts the artist. Diana invites you to emotionally join this journey in her works from the “what lies behind the fence” series. We are all consumed by curiosity when we get the opportunity to look beyond the boundaries of what is permitted.

The artist plays with form, framing images in deliberately careless geometry, mainly metallic shades, delicately referring to the Baroque. Harmony in the contrast of warm and cold shades, which are unexpectedly embodied in aesthetic discourse.
