Jacques Moncho is a contemporary French painter. His unconditional love for Flemish painting, especially Bruegel, served as the foundation for his artistic career. His early works were influenced by him.
Moncho’s favorite themes are landscapes and still lifes. He meticulously creates a preliminary design for each canvas, which enables him to build his composition on a strong foundation. The artist enjoys leading his landscapes with a variety of characters despite being far from the hyperrealist perfections.
