I was born in Charleroi (Belgium) on April 28, 1956.

In 1986, I met the Belgian photographer, Jean-François COLLIGNON who introduced me to photography, on the other side of the stage, as a model.
At the time, I left a life of negation to go and meet myself, thanks to art.

In 2001, I began to discover drawing and painting.
Occasional student of the Charleroi Academy of Fine Arts, I discovered the joys of working on a live model, combined with the feminine.
There I learned different techniques ranging from drawing with pencil, charcoal, even pastel to then launching into painting, among other things, on wallpaper.

The sensuality of my creations, emanating from twenty years of posing as a nude model, gives the naked woman all her letters of nobility.

One spring morning, in 2002, I found myself in my private studio in front of a block of clay.
My hands begin to knead the earth to slowly see the sculpture of a naked, seated woman appear.

Since then, I have alternated drawing, painting and sculpture, bringing all my feminine sensitivity to represent women in their simple and noble voluptuousness.
At the same time, I continue, proud of my 50 years, to pose nude for various artists, in diverse registers.

During this time, I worked as an employee in a public hospital institution.

And, the icing on the cake, I opened on October 22, 2004, in my house, an exhibition gallery of an exclusively cultural nature: the Intimerrance gallery which has its own website.
Artists who work on the image of women are welcome. Exhibiting there is free (no rental, no commission on sales, no donation.)

I wish you a pleasant visit,

Annick.
