"L'Art sauvera le monde" dit Dostoïevski dans "L'Idiot".
UTOPIA conviendrait aussi comme titre, sauf que l'espoir paraîtrait trop vain...
Le chevalet a des roulettes ( ah ! peindre en avançant, comme les mouches font ça en volant ! ) Il est mû par la silhouette aérienne de la femme aimée, la muse, telle un ange et comme un nuage. pour bien signifier que l'Artiste n'est rien sans l'inspiration. Les trois ballons, aériens et fragiles parachutes de secours, rappellent les trois valeurs de Platon : le beau, le bon, le vrai. Les trois gueules crachent des flammes tout en bavant. Combat de l'eau et du feu...Le phare au fond, un de mes motifs récurrents, veut éclairer le monde.
La scène est un spectacle que contemple la foule, admiratrice et impuissante, enthousiaste ou indifférente. Remarquer un casque audio à gauche, un masque, un nez de clown, un corbeau à droite.
Je n'insère jamais des mots dans mes images, mais là j'avais à cœur de dire combien je crois en l'Art.
