Seeing that not pleasant scene of seeing a beautiful century-old tree coming to the ground, I asked him to keep some logs of wood.
I left these logs to dry in the sun for months.
Finally came the pandemic of the Corona virus forced me to quarantine more than two months. It was a difficult time for all mankind with invaluable loss of life and a deep sadness at all either by the impacts of the disease directly, but also the social, economic and psychological impact on all people around the world.
Thus, from a small seed in the forest to a sculpture, the wood makes its journey and invites us to be a passenger in its history.
Manual labor, sweat, human touch intertwine and enrich the objects created, giving life and transmitting sensations, which both please our eyes and our soul.
In this sense, you will be able to participate in this adventure and understand a little how the process of creating a piece of wood takes place, which in the end will be part of its history as well.
Thus, came the idea of a monk who inspired us tranquility and who would like to tell us that everything was going to pass.
